back to school shopping

Luke and I got to spend the day together getting school supplies and a new backpack. 

Greg was on a business trip so Luke wanted me take photos to send to him, he was so proud of his new backpack cause it had a clip just like Daddy's work bag. :)

We both had so much fun that day, it was really special!

I took Adalyn to fareway to grocery shop with me and she had a blast pushing around her own little cart. It was pretty fun for me too. 

 

Cousin's Ben and Joe spent a day with us, we had a lot of fun, they were so great with the kids!

Summer is going so fast. I wish with all my might I could slow it down but I can't so we're trying to make the most of these last 3 weeks. 

sleepover!!

cousin Holden got to come for a sleepover (Luke's first) a couple of weeks ago.  The boys had a lot of fun together. 

4th of july

we spent the fourth of july weekend at the lake. 

I guess I must ask for this pose enough because they just gave each other kisses and all I had to do was take the photos. :)

headed out for the annual fireworks, it's such a special tradition that we've done every year since mom and dad got the lake place in 2002. This year we were so close to the fireworks that we didn't even have a boat it front of us, it was pretty cool. 

adalyn was pretty sleepy and thought the fireworks were pretty bright but she seemed to like them. The boys thought they were super cool. 

we got to spend a couple of nights camping with gramma and papa.
