a weekend getaway to Paso Robles

Greg traveled to Paso Robles for work
and I got to join him for a weekend away.

A church right up the hill from the farm Greg was working at.

We spent Sunday traveling along the coast.

We stopped in Carmel by the Sea, a little European Styled Village. It was beautiful, I would live there in a heartbeat, every house had a unique style with a little door to their garden.
I wish I could have taken pictures of everything but I was taking it all in.

Isn't this roof awesome!

We stopped to see the Elephant Seals and these little squirrels there were so tame and chunky. :)

At the end of the trip we got to see the place where James Dean died (top left photo)
and ate at the last Restaurant he did.
It looks a dive but the food was so good
and they had a really nice winery inside.

On the way into Paso.

It was late in the day but we were able to enjoy a winery before they closed.

Paso has a really cute downtown, we tried a couple of restaurants.
I did a little shopping. :) These little shops were awesome!! I am going to open a shop like Firefly someday and the fabric shop, I could have spent a fortune there!

This is the farmers land, 8000 acres. It is beautiful!
The photos don't do it justice. There is a little road that takes you through all the hills and the cows you see in the photo above, we got to drive through those.
I was so afraid they were going to ram the car. :)

Fields of Barley.

It was a really nice get-a-away.
It's been so long since we've had some time just the two of us.
Some of the locations Greg goes for business aren't the most ideal but I'll go on this trip with him anytime. :))

Ethan's 4 Year Photo Shoot

I have been wanting to get Ethan's four year photos taken so on one of the those awesomely warm days we headed over to the lake to get some cool shots.  The water was so pretty half frozen. Ethan was such a great sport!! Love this little guy so much!

painting adalyn's nails for the first time

I painted Adalyn's nails for the first time.
She was so proud and is always talking about everyone's pretty nails now. :)

Showing off her toes. :) Now she keeps asking to paint her finger nails.

It was actually a little harder then I thought it was going to be. I think we have it down now but that first time she did not want to wait for the polish to dry.

Headed out for a little shopping just the two of us.
