Aquatic Center

Greg was out of town on a business trip so Luke & I headed to Ames for a couple of days. 

On Tuesday we ate lunch at Hickory Park with a couple of my Aunts and lots of my cousins. It was a great time. Michelle was in Ames on Tuesday too. So we enjoyed time hanging out and watching movies with Austin. Wednesday the weather was perfect for swimming so we headed to Toddler Swim at the Ames Aquatic Center for the first time. Luke loved it. 

Greg got home last night after many hours of driving and we had a nice relaxing evening as a family.

Little Shark

We spent another great weekend at the lake, spending time with family, boating, tubing, & swimming. Luke had fun watching the tube from the boat. He kept saying "Wow, wow wow wow"! 

Picnic

My mom came earlier this week to spend some time with Luke & I. We spent the day going out for lunch, doing a little shopping, spending time at the park and having a picnic supper with Greg. It was a great day! 

4th of July Weekend

Boating is serious stuff. Luke is very somber when riding in the boat. Trying to take it all in I think.

 We had a fun weekend back home spending time with family. Here are a few photos from our time spent at the lake. The fireworks this year were fantastic! Luke was very sleepy after a full day of fun but he managed to stay awake for most of the fireworks with a few ooo's and ahh's of his own.  Luke had both sets of grandparents out on the boat this year which made it extra special!
