We moved into our house in June of '08. The summer before Luke was born. We bought a hundred year old house that need some updating. We were having a boy so the flower wallpaper and pink carpet had to go. The first thing we did the day we got possession of the house was tear off the wallpaper (unfortunately the walls came with it) and pull up the carpet (we we're so excited to find hardwood floors).
A lot of work went into this room. The walls and closet had to be completely redone; we painted, we polished and Greg added the crown molding. I am very happy with how it turned out. If you look closely you can see how we pulled up the carpet in the landing too. Greg stained this floor a dark color and I love it!
